Our Art Program
At P.S. 326, art is deeply woven into the fabric of the school’s culture, enriching the educational experience and fostering creativity across all grade levels. Art is not just a subject—it is an essential part of daily life, with visual arts, music, and dance integrated in various forms throughout the year.
Students engage in hands-on learning through a comprehensive arts curriculum, exploring diverse media and styles—from drawing and painting to sculpture—often inspired by the works of renowned artists. Beyond the classroom, partnerships with organizations such as Ballet Tech, Dancewave, and Brooklyn Music School provide students with expanded artistic opportunities, including auditions, African drumming classes, and performance-based dance instruction.
The 3K and Pr-K program further nurtures young learners, offering students dance and music instruction to cultivate early creative development. Dance is also embraced through a gym teacher-led dance club for Kindergarten through Grade 2 students, as well as through afterschool arts programs supported by local policymakers.
At P.S. 326, art is more than a tool for personal expression—it is a shared cultural experience that celebrates diversity, builds community, and empowers students to think creatively in all areas of their education.
