P.S. 326 is an exemplary early childhood center that celebrates the diversity of our students, staff, and community. We are steadfast in our efforts to work cooperatively to accommodate all unique students’ abilities, interests, and to foster intrinsic motivation and confidence, which will inspire excellence in academic achievement and responsible citizenship.
At PS 326, we believe that young children are not only capable learners, but also compassionate citizens of their communities. Our instructional focus centers on building foundational academic skills through meaningful, hands-on learning experiences that are deeply connected to the real world. We are committed to nurturing curiosity, empathy, and a sense of empowerment in our students by embedding opportunities for social justice, service, and civic engagement across the curriculum.
Through developmentally appropriate inquiry, play-based exploration, and collaborative projects, students are invited to make sense of their world and see themselves as active participants in it. Our approach values each child’s voice and lived experience, encouraging them to ask questions, solve problems, and take action in ways that are meaningful to them and their community.
